John is a family law attorney specializing in divorce and parental rights involving custody and parenting time. As an advocate of “Parenting Coaching” during the pendency of cases, he works with clients to use services of qualified professionals to find resolutions for crucial parenting issues. He is also known as a highly respected trial attorney and skilled negotiator.
John has extensive experience as a practicing trial attorney since 1978 and has been a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 2001. Before Sassoon Cymrot Law, he was founding partner of Hoffman Law Group and owned his own law practice in Walpole and Sharon. Additionally, John has been a panelist for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminars and conferences and was Assistant District Attorney for Norfolk County.
John is a lifelong resident of Walpole and the proud father of two grown sons.
