Sassoon & Cymrot attorneys, Scott Wittlin, Tony McGuinness and Aaron Todrin, have teamed up with the Mentors and Ventures Program (MVP), at the Center for Entrepreneurship, Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, Amherst to build a network of professional advisors and mentors dedicated to entrepreneurial emergence. MVP connects start-up businesses run by UMass affiliates (undergrads, grad students, or alumni) with established UMass alumni who are prepared to share their experiences and connections as entrepreneurs and business advisors. These mentors aid the startups with legal guidance, business advice, networking opportunities, and professional support. Sassoon & Cymrot attorneys will provide MVP participants and their emerging businesses with mentor support and pro-bono legal services.
Attorneys Wittlin, McGuinness and Todrin, recently met with MVP participants at UMass, Amherst, for an informal Question & Answer panel organized by MVP Director, Dr. James Theroux. They provided general advice about business and legal issues faced by start-up companies.
